Before and After

A lot of people look at the images on my site and ask me what the shots looked like straight from the camera. I've shown two photos here which illustrate a Landscape image as shot (RAW format) and after 5 minutes of Lightroom 4 work.

I have a fairly standard workflow for Landscapes in lightroom and in this shot I didn't do much more than adjust the black and white points, modify the white balance and crop. As you can see this can make a significant effect compared to the un-processed RAW file which will always be a little flat and lacking in contrast straight from the camera.
