Fuji 16-55mm f2.8 - Real World Examples
I’ve been using the Fuji system for around four years now and had built up a set of primes ranging from the excellent 16mm f1.4 to the 56mm f1.2 with a 23mm f2 and 35mm f2 in the middle.
I came to Fuji from Nikon where I had a D800 with the Nikon ‘trinity’ of zoom lenses (14-24mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm)
I have found that I miss the convenience of a zoom lens and recently picked up the excellent Fuji 16-55mm. I think that zooms suite my style of photography which tends to be quite diverse and the 16-55mm has excellent image quality for a zoom and holds its own against the Prime lens.
Fuji 16-55mm f2.8 - London
I took the 16-55mm with me on my commute into London on a couple of days last week and took a few shots on route. The examples below show the diversity of this lens and camera system. Click on any of the images for a larger ‘lightbox’ view
